We are excited to announce the launch of the new Houston Square and Round Dance Council website. This marks a big step forward in how we connect with our members and celebrate the joy of square dancing.

For many years our previous website served us well, but as technology and communications needs have evolved, the importance of creating a platform that is modern, user friendly, and designed to meet the needs of today’s dancers while honoring the rich history and community spirit of square dancing became apparent.

Here is what you can expect from the new website:

1. Fresh design: A clean and updated look that reflects the energy and spirit of square dancing.
2. Improved Navigation: Easily find information about upcoming dances lessons, and special events.
3. Mobile friendly: Access everything on the go, whether planning your next dance or checking out a new club.

Please watch this site for updated information on dances and special events. Of special interest will be the use of a common calendar “TeamUp” which will aid all of the clubs. Additional information will be coming to you soon.

Please be patient with us as we navigate the unfortunate circumstances that led to this effort. Together we ‘ll keep the rhythm and traditions alive while boldly stepping into the future.
