This week has been tough on the Square Dance Community.

We lost two longtime dancers, Jim Stampfl (of the Frontier Squares and Hanger Squares) and Lee Hines (of the Katy Prairie Promenaders and Fairbees.) At the request of Jim, a Green Service was privately held. If you would like to send a card for Lee, it can be sent to Connie Burch (Lee’s daughter) at 8405 Clarann Lane, Chappell Hill, Texas 77426. Lee’s Memorial Service will be held Monday January 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Kingsland Baptist Church, 20555 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, Texas 77450

Please hold their loved ones in your prayers and remember, we are here for only a short time.
