HSRDC is proud to be the Sponsoring Organization for the 75th National Square Dance Convention in Waco June 24-27. Claudia and Gary Lester, members of the Hey Lollies, are the General Chairmen, and over 40 on the Planning Committee are members of HSRDC clubs.  This group has been working three years preparing for this exciting event.

With the Convention just two months away, it’s important for more Houston area dancers to get actively involved!

Rhonda Harshbarger and Carol Thornburg are organizing volunteers for a variety of roles, including registration, hospitality, education, first aid, services, and special events. A Sign-Up Genius email will be sent in May, and everyone is encouraged to find an hour or two or more to volunteer.

We also are looking for Texas and USA themed décor for the lobby and dance halls. If decorating is your specialty or interest, please contact Rhonda at 713-447-1024 or Carol at 713-824-7226.

And if you haven’t already registered, be sure to do that this week, as the registration fee increases from $80 to $95 on May 1. https://75nsdctx.com/long-form-registration/

Let’s help make this a great convention and show our Houston spirit of hospitality to the 3000 guests who will be attending!
