Wondering where some of your favorite Houston-area square dancers disappeared to this past weekend? They were in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, joining more than 1,400 dancers and 50 callers from across the country for the 51st Tennessee State Square and Round Dance Festival, August 6–8!

For three action-packed days, dancers enjoyed non-stop dancing at every level and plenty of opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new ones. Houston dancers also took time to enjoy the spectacular Smoky Mountain scenery, beautiful weather, and a bear encounter or two!
