MAINSTREAM DANCE OPPORTUNITIES ON MONDAYS AND SATURDAYS
Mainstream dancing in a relaxed setting is available at the Daytime Squares dance on Mondays from 4:30–6:00 PM at the Trini Mendenhall Community Center and the HSRDC Saturday afternoon dances are on Saturdays 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Concordia Lutheran. Both dances are fun and FREE to attend! Come check it out!
INTRO TO CLOGGING CLASSES
Ready to try something new and add a little extra fun to your dancing? Dana and Jack McFarland are offering a 12-week Intro to Clogging class on Wednesdays 6:15–7:30 PM at the Trini Mendenhall Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road. Even if you didn’t attend last week, you have another opportunity to join the class on Wednesday, September 26! No experience is necessary! Learn some lively new steps, enjoy great music, and have fun with fellow dancers. For more information, contact Jack at 281-216-0496 or Dana at 281-216-0559.
ROUND DANCE EXHIBITION
Brazos Bottom Belles and Beaus invite round dancers to participate in a Round Dance Exhibition at a community for seniors. Dancers will be featured entertainment and are needed Tuesday, October 6, 10:30-11:15am at St. Theresa Catholic Church Community Center, Bldg. E, 705 St. Theresa Blvd. in Sugar Land. It’s a lovely facility with plenty of dance space. Marilyn Waguespack will cue. HOUSTON HOEDOWN – BEST DANCE PARTY IN HOUSTON
Have you registered for the 78th Annual Houston Hoedown “Dance Around the World!” on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 23–25 at the Pasadena Convention Center?
Early Bird Registration ends September 30, so save some money and sign up now for this fun event! Put your Hoedown ribbon on your badge to win free raffle tickets! HSRDC Presidents and other officers will be visiting clubs to give coupons to everyone who is wearing the blue Hoedown ribbon or who purchases their registration that day.
